How much Pooph™ should I use?

Pooph™ requires a 1:1 ratio of the odor creating molecule to Pooph™’s odor eliminating molecule. So if you’re using Pooph™ on a fresh accident by your pet, you will use less Pooph™ than you would on an old accident (and maybe an accident your pet has had multiple times in the same place). As long as Pooph™ can reach the source of the odor and there’s as much Pooph™ as there is stink, Pooph™ will get it and dismantle the odor.

To illustrate this, the curious science nerd in me did an experiment adding a cube of bread to either Pooph or regular tap water and letting it “fester” for a week. The picture speaks for itself (if you’re skeptical of my results, try it!). The Pooph sample was completely clear and odorless after a week while the water sample was cloudy and rotten. The amazing thing is that Pooph does this all while basically looking, smelling, and feeling just like water! The results also lead me to wonder if this product has some preventative properties as well?The take home message here is that I have found this product works best when you saturate the source of the odor, especially when we’re talking fabrics and shoes where bacteria and smells can hide beneath. So only spraying the surface lightly may not be effective in all situations. That’s where the commercial seems a little misleading showing a single spritz of product…so I can understand some reviewers disappointment in the effectiveness if used that way. But in my experience when used correctly Pooph is amazing!
